The Men's Thing
The Men's Thing is a monthly social group at St John the Baptist Church, Old Malden.
It is open to all men, whether they are church members or not. Woman also welcome.
- When: Usually held on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
- Time: Meetings begin at 10:00 am for tea, coffee, and biscuits.
- Where: The Coffee Lounge at St John the Baptist Church.
- Activities:
- Speakers: Most meetings feature an invited guest speaking on diverse topics such as local history, hobbies (e.g., bee keeping, vintage cars), or personal careers.
- Summer Trips: During the summer, the group organises outings to places of interest like Bletchley Park or the Kew Steam Museum.
