  • The Restore Project
  • Giving

The Restore Project brings together essential restoration work with a wider vision for the church’s future — safeguarding the fabric of the building and strengthening how we serve our growing community.

By repairing stonework, renewing roofs and making the building watertight, we secure St John’s not just as a landmark, but as a thriving place for worship, welcome, outreach and shared life.

Our church needs  urgent repairs  and estimated cost of the works is £450,000.
We need your help!

St John’s is a self-supporting parish, receiving no government funding apart from Gift Aid tax refunds, and it costs around £2,400 each week to run the church, support our clergy and staff, and care for our historic building.

We rely entirely on the generosity of supporters like you, and donations—given online, by bank transfer, or in person—are gratefully received and used responsibly to support parish life and our wider diocesan mission.
