Fair Trade and environmentally friendly products are on sale
every Sunday in Coffee Lounge. Every sale helps farmers and producers in developing world. Our small profit from these good go towards our sponsored children in Nepal.
We sell a wide range of ethically sourced products in our church, including Fairtrade tea and coffee, chocolate, biscuits, sugar, honey, gifts, cards and seasonal items.

The Restore Project brings together essential restoration work with a wider vision for the church’s future — safeguarding the fabric of the building and strengthening how we serve our growing community.
By repairing stonework, renewing roofs and making the building watertight, we secure St John’s not just as a landmark, but as a thriving place for worship, welcome, outreach and shared life.

We are a vibrant parish community with many groups that meet regularly for prayer and fellowship.

St John’s Hall is available for hire for parties, classes, meetings and community events.
It offers a spacious hall, use of the kitchen, accessible facilities and limited on-site parking.
For prices and availability, please get in touch with the Hall Admin.
St John’s is a self-supporting parish, receiving no government funding apart from Gift Aid tax refunds, and it costs around £2,400 each week to run the church, support our clergy and staff, and care for our historic building.
We rely entirely on the generosity of supporters like you, and donations—given online, by bank transfer, or in person—are gratefully received and used responsibly to support parish life and our wider diocesan mission.
